ENTRANCE AND ACCESS HAS CHANGED!

Southbound (from Chico): From Highway 99 take the Durham/Pentz/Butte College exit and turn right towards Durham. Go 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Book Farm Road (brand new road with large pumpkin at intersection). Follow road 1.5 miles to the driveway of the Book Family Farm.

Northbound (from Gridley) From Highway 99 take the Durham/Pentz/Butte College exit and turn left towards Durham going over the overpass. Stay on Durham Pentz Road and go 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Book Farm Road (brand new road with large pumpkin at intersection). Follow road 1.5 miles to the driveway of the Book Family Farm.

Thank you from Book Family Farm! We would like to thank the community, the teachers and students, all our friends and volunteers who have helped make it possible to open our doors to the public during the last 23 Octobers. Field trips, scarecrow contests, pumpkin carving, Durham Band day and Cal-Fire days all have enriched our lives.

Many of the younger members of our families have grown and moved on to various other pursuits, Grandma Bea went to be with her Lord in November of 2007 and we have decided to scale this fall season back to only one weekend open to the public.

There will be no Pumpkin Patch this year.

October 2008 Book Family Farm will open its gates for one weekend only: Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th. Please join us to honor the local firefighters on Saturday and support local music programs on Sunday.

The farm will be open to the public for one weekend only in 2008. Please join us on Saturday, October 11th for the 10th Annual Cal-Fire and Butte County Fire Day & Sunday, October 12th for Durham Band Day.
