Harvest Festival
Thank you from Book Family!
We would like to thank the community, the teachers and students, all our friends and volunteers who have helped make it possible to open our doors to the public during the last 24 Octobers. Field trips, scarecrow contests, pumpkin carving, Durham Band day and Cal-Fire days all have enriched our lives.
Many of the younger members of our families have grown and moved on to various other pursuits, Grandma Bea went to be with her Lord in November of 2007 and we have decided to close our doors to the public until further notice.
There will be no Pumpkin Patch this year.
Family Harvest Activities
If you and your family are looking for a Harvest activity and would like to continue to support your local community, we strongly recommend the Nord Country School Harvest Festival. This community and school are working together to keep the school open for the local children. They use the Harvest Festival as a fundraiser to continue to support the students, staff and school. We highly recommend you attend this great event and see all the work and pride this community is putting into their school.
