Draft Horse Driving Training & Lessons

Spring is coming early this year (as sad as I am about that being in the farming industry) and that means I'm going to have a lot more time this year to train horses to drive as well as give lessons. I have had such a great response from my lessons and training that I'm going to be devoting more of my time to making this work. I am currently booked up on training from now until the end of May but will be available to take on new horses by June. I will also be available come the first of March to begin giving driving lessons again to people who are interested in learning to drive. If you have a horse that already drives and you would like to learn, you have just always wanted to know how to drive or anything in between please contact me for further information. My calendar will get booked up fast so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Even if I can't help you myself, I have great contacts in this realm and would be happy to pass you on to the appropriate people.

ENTRANCE AND ACCESS HAS CHANGED!

Southbound (from Chico): From Highway 99 take the Durham/Pentz/Butte College exit and turn right towards Durham. Go 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Book Farm Road (brand new road with large pumpkin at intersection). Follow road 1.5 miles to the driveway of the Book Family Farm.

Northbound (from Gridley) From Highway 99 take the Durham/Pentz/Butte College exit and turn left towards Durham going over the overpass. Stay on Durham Pentz Road and go 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Book Farm Road (brand new road with large pumpkin at intersection). Follow road 1.5 miles to the driveway of the Book Family Farm.

THERE IS NO ACCESS TO DRIVEWAY DIRECTLY FROM HIGHWAY 99!!!
